Christmas Decorating Part One

Hello Friends,

How are you doing today? I hope you are enjoying this day with friends and family or enjoying your work day.  Christmas is getting closer! there are only 35 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!  it always feels like it goes by too fast.  Lately I have been lsitening to nothing but Christmas music in the car.  I know, I'm that obsessed !
Today I had some time on my hands so I decided to take some photos of the Christmas decor I put up around my room some old and new.

This is an origami Christmas garland from Ten Thousand Villages.  I have always loved that store, they sell handmade products from people in poorer countries and the money goes back to the people who made them.  I love to support the store for this reason. It is such a good cause.

A display I put together with many of the Christmas decorations I've collected over the years.  I got the Charlie Brown Christmas script book at a library sale last Christmas and the rest I got from craft fairs and the dollar store over the years.  For the snow I used cotton balls and for the hill illusion I used a piece of raised cardboard.

Mr. and Mrs. Polar Bear.  I bought the boy and my sister bought me the girl one Christmas it was so cute.

My "Elf on the Shelf".  I got him from a craft fair one year

A little Christmas tree decorated with miniature ornaments on the corner of my desk with an angel on top!

I bought these two last year at the end of the season.  I love the tradition of watching "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" every Christmas.  They were on sale and I just had to scoop them up to add to the collection!
I hope  you enjoyed seeing some of the Christmas decor around my room.  I say "Part One" in the title because I haven't put everythig out yet and I would like to post photos soon when we put our Christmas tree up in the living room.
Happy Holidays!

  1. You've spreading the Christmas cheer. I've yet to do any Christmas decorating at my house. I'm not really in the Christmas mood yet. I'm planning to put up my tree this weekend so I hope it kicks in soon. Your place looks nice!
